As I continue to put my hands to the plough, I ask for your votes to help me continue improving our local judicial system. I will continue improving by manifesting a courtroom of understanding and not fear. The courtroom stands as a cornerstone of justice, where fairness, impartiality, and respect for all parties must prevail. Whether one is a plaintiff or a defendant, the legal process should be free from fear, bias, or intimidation. Upholding these principles ensures that every individual receives equal treatment under the law and that the truth can emerge in a safe, dignified environment.
While my second term has already taken shape, several key initiatives are in motion. To better serve our mission and community, I have developed a strategic staffing plan that prioritizes employee retention, provides clear career pathways, and ensures all staff receive livable wages. This approach strengthens our workforce, enhances service quality, and reflects our commitment to fairness and long-term growth.
Beyond the Bench builds trust with leaders who drive change rather than accept the status quo. Texas JP courts strengthen communities by partnering with local service providers, addressing root causes, and making court access easier through outreach and mobile sessions. Clear communication, respectful treatment, and data‑driven decisions help build trust, improve outcomes statewide, and deliver real solutions that reduce repeat offenses while expanding access to resources and education opportunities.
Fiscal responsibility continues to ensure that taxpayer dollars are used wisely.
